One Week – Completing grades K-6
“Our 10 year old son is very outgoing and can talk to anyone; however, prior to going to Gold Arrow he had never had a sleep over that was not with a family member so we were naturally apprehensive. From the moment we arrived at the bus parking lot he was greeted with enthusiastic camp counselors who welcomed him with open arms…and he never looked back. Fast forward 1 week and the first question he asked when he got off the bus was whether he could go for 2 weeks next year. Success!” -Brook Westcott, Parent
What is Mini Camp?
Mini Camp is a one-week program for campers completing grades K-6. It’s a great introduction to life at camp, and campers have an opportunity to try many of the activities offered at Gold Arrow Camp. There is not enough time to try every activity, but in addition to scheduled group activities with their cabins, campers have several free time activity periods in which they can sign up for an activity of their choice. Optional early morning activities are available for campers who want to squeeze extra activities into a day.
“My otherwise shy daughter came back bursting with stories to share about so many different activities she tried during her 1 week mini camp. She got to experience the joy of discovering hidden talents and new interests, for which I’m extremely grateful.” -Rachel Lee Dunnington, Parent
