All first-year staff are required to attend Staff Training. Our camp program lasts 8 weeks, with the first two-week campers arriving on June 21, 2027. Depending on qualifications and availability of positions, some staff work beyond the regular camp season during Specialty Week/Mini Camps. Dates of employment will be determined during the interview and hiring process. To qualify for a counseling position, you must be available to work for at least 9 weeks (June 8 through August 14, 2027).
Staff Training Arrival Dates
Rocks & Ropes Counselor Training: June 8, 2027
Backpacking Counselor Training: June 10, 2027
Any staff needing Lifeguard Certification: June 8, 2027
All other counselors: June 10, 2027
Returning support staff (kitchen, housekeeping, etc.): June 8, 2027
New support staff (kitchen, housekeeping, etc.): June 10, 2027
Salary Information

Additional benefits to salary provided by camp for camp counselors and staff are weekly laundry service and room and board.
