This page contains instructions for parents who ordered the Lucira LAMP test from Total Swab prior to July 1. Because of supply issues, the Lucira LAMP test has been out of stock since then.
The Lucira LAMP test for COVID-19 is administered by a parent at home on the day before the camp session begins (Saturday).
The test is minimally invasive and consists of a swab being placed into only the front part of each nostril and rotated around. The procedure comes with easy-to-read instructions and a link to an instructional video (if needed).
Ordering the test was Step 1. After receiving the test, if you have not already done so, please complete Step 2 and 3 below.
Step 2: Select Test Date & Complete Profile
Use this link to select the test date that is one day prior to your child’s arrival at camp and choose “I am scheduling this appointment for: ONLY my children or dependents.” For example, if your camper starts camp on Sunday, July 25, you will select Saturday, July 24 for your appointment date. This is NOT a live appointment and the information provided during this step is used to group campers arriving the same day for test results to be sent from Total Swab to Gold Arrow Camp. Do not administer the test prior to this date but the test can be done at any time before 5:00pm PT on Saturday before arrival at camp.
Step 3: Submit Results
ON THE DAY BEFORE CAMP BEGINS, after you administer the test, you will take a photo of the results, electronically sign, and submit the results and photo to Total Swab using the online Results Form. Total Swab will notify Gold Arrow Camp of your child’s test results.
