Here are some answers to anticipated questions about the cancellation options:
Q: What are your tuition prices and discounts offered for 2021?

Q: What if I don’t want to enroll in my same session as 2020?
There is a space on the form below to request a different session in 2021. These change requests will be considered at a later date, after all 2020 cancellations have been processed. Accommodating change requests will be dependent on the number of requests received, and first priority will be given to those already on the waiting list for the corresponding 2020 session.
Q: My child is going into 10th grade after the summer and was supposed to be graduating this year. Can my child still come to camp next year?
Yes, if your child is going into 10th grade, then you can enroll for the corresponding 2021 session as a rising 11th grader. This is a special exception for 2021 only. Please note that rising 11th graders participating as a camper in 2021 will only have one year of eligibility to apply as a Junior Counselor (in 2022), which is an impacted program.
Q: I’d like to take advantage of the offer to pay the current, 2020 tuition prices, but I only want to pay $750 now. Can I create some kind of payment plan and pay over time to meet the requirement?
No. Fortunately, you are automatically eligible for the 3% Fall Discount and can pay-in-full by September 30, 2020, and receive an additional 3% off tuition.
Q: I’m interested in committing to 2021, but neither rolling over all tuition payments to 2021 nor rolling over a $750 deposit is a good option for me. Are there plans somewhere in the middle?
The answer is maybe. We understand there are different circumstances where requests like this might come up. For example, a camper that is paid-in-full for two sessions might only want to roll over one of the two. We will handle special requests on a case-by-case basis, and these can be made in the appropriate area on the Cancellation Form.
Q: I’ve already completed forms for 2020. Will these transfer to 2021?
No, unfortunately, any forms completed in 2020 will eventually need to be resubmitted for 2021.
Q: When will I get my refund?
If you have indicated that you would like a full or partial refund of your 2020 tuition, we anticipate processing all refunds within 2-4 weeks, accounting for any unforeseeable delays we may encounter.
Q: I’ve already paid my child’s store deposit and bus fee. Will those funds also transfer to 2021?
This will be an option on the form.
Q: If I decide to receive a full or partial refund and I paid the tuition with a credit card which has since been cancelled or changed, how will I receive my refund?
We will issue and mail a check to your current mailing address if your card is declined for refund. We are unable to apply the refund to a different credit card than the original payment. For international families, we can discuss other ways to transfer money online if we are unable to refund the original credit card.
Q: What if I purchased Camp Cancellation (“Program Protector”) Insurance from TripMate when I registered for camp?
If you choose to receive a full refund from GAC of all tuition paid, you will receive a 100% refund of your policy fee from TripMate. Likewise, if you choose to donate any portion of your paid tuition to Gold Arrow Camp, TripMate will still refund 100% of your policy fee. If you choose to roll over your tuition payments to 2021, your Program Protector policy can be transferred to 2021 as well. Regardless of which option you select, when your rollover and/or cancellation is complete, you can email info@tripassure.com to request your transfer or refund. In the subject line include “Program Protector Refund Enrollment ID #.” Your Enrollment ID number was emailed to you when you signed up. You will also need to include a copy of your cancellation invoice from Gold Arrow Camp which shows your refund.
Q: I made a donation to the Manny Vezie Fund. Will my donation be refunded?
The donations made have already been distributed to the Caldwell Foundation for camp scholarships and cannot be refunded.
Q: Are you having a holiday gift offer this year?
We will be opening an online camp store with several different, unique camp souvenirs that will be available to order. These can be purchased to support GAC and our vendors and to buy gift items for your camper.
