Sailing in our boat
Waves splashing up on the
Oh no, capsizing
I love Gold Arrow
It is the best thing of all
Here everyone rocks!
I love the fresh air
Capfires are fun with
But goodbuys are sad.
Speeding down the lake
Captain of my little ship
I would sail all day
Soaring over waves
Arms straining with the
engulfed by water
Overcome by fears.
Have fun. Socialize. Love

Newport Coast GAC Chat Next Weekend
Join us on Sunday, March 15, from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. for our Newport Coast area GAC Chat. Hosted by the Groux family, this event is for your whole family. To RSVP and get directions, email us.
What is a GAC Chat?
A GAC Chat is an informal gathering of camp families, both returning and new, along with one of the Camp Directors or another camp representative. GAC Chats are hosted by current camp families in their homes. Campers who have attended GAC share about their experiences, a brief slide show is shown, and there is plenty of time for asking questions about camp as well as socializing with other campers. This is a great opportunity for first-year families to learn what GAC is about and meet other camp families from your area.
If you would like to receive invitations to the GAC Chats in your area, be sure to fill out the information form here to be added to our mailing list.
Congratulations Buzz & Cheerio!
Heather “Cheerio” Hochstedler (GAC Staff 08-14) and Sam “Buzz” Veatch (GAC Staff 14) were married on December 26, 2014 at a private campground in the Ocala National Forest in Umatilla, Florida. Sharing in the fun of their day, including s’mores and Footloose, were many current and former GAC staffers. The newly married couple continues their adventure in Winter Park, Florida. We’re so happy for you, Cheerio and Buzz!
Happy Birthday Sunshine!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all of our camp families, and a very Happy Birthday to Sunshine. On Saturday we celebrated a future happy camper, and Sunshine’s birthday with lunch and GAC fun!
