GAC Traditions

CONTENT-PAGE 0

Gold Arrow Camp has developed many traditions over the years, from singing the camp song to calling for the Chipmunk of the first evening of camp. These traditions are kept alive because many of our campers return year after year and some even become counselors.

Due to this fact one of our biggest traditions has become the presentations of our 3 year banners and 5 year Blankets at appreciation campfire on the last night of camp!

We honor all of campers and staff who return to Gold Arrow Camp for 3 summers with a 3 year banner!

Campers and staff who manage to spend 5 years with us at Gold Arrow Camp receive one of camps most sort after possessions: a 5 year blanket. This blanket is embroidered with the camper or staff members name.

Some special campers and staff manage to return to us for 10 years! Upon this achievement they receive a very special 10 year jacket with their name embroidered on it and a 10 year patch to sew onto their blanket.

Every year we a proud to be giving out more and more 3 year banners, 5 year blankets and even 10 year jackets. It is a honor to see more and more campers becoming part of the traditions of camp.
